Our client is a leading manufacturer of professional antenna and filter systems for communications and broadcasting, serving commercial and governmental markets worldwide. We have been retained to identify a Managing Director/CEO candidate.
Responsibilities:
The selected candidate will:
Be responsible for profit & loss responsibility for the organization
Align to our client’s worldwide (Sales) Strategy, translate market needs, industry trends and innovation requirements into business strategies, growth plans and action plans
Oversee a sales organization including business development, logistics and commercial department and HR Issues
Facilitate order intake of approximately USD $50 Million annually with a clear aim to grow
Own sales territory: United States of America and Canada
Manage sales network consisting of affiliates and partners in cooperation with group-headquarters
Establish co-operations and partnerships with customers and industrial partners
Sales responsibility for the product lines includes:
Mobile communication antennas (MCA)
Filters, combiners and amplifiers (FIL)
Broadband communications systems (HFC)
Broadcast antenna systems (BCA)
Satellite and terrestrial reception systems (SAT)
Support project business of project driven business divisions
Sales planning and sales reporting to headquarter
Budgeting and controlling
Annual business-planning
Initially the task will be to build up and develop a Central Hub organization for sales, marketing in the Dallas, TX Metroplex area.
Education:
University degree in engineering and/or business management
Professional and Personal Skills and Experience:
Senior expert in the mobile telecommunications/infrastructure industry, wide experience in handling of large accounts with an international customer base. A technical knowledge base of the product lines listed above.
Strong Business acumen, client centric philosophy
Consistent track record of delivering strong results
Business and profit minded with related technical knowhow; competitive and profit-driven
Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills; distinctive ability to interact with all levels of management, clients and suppliers
Exhibited strong leadership, able to motivate, a real (team) leader

Strategic Problem solving
Profound Market knowledge in telecommunications/infrastructure, antenna or RF products, and relationships to relevant customers
Positive thinking and enthusiasm
Industrial Background:
Long term experience in the Mobile business (operator, network provider, telecommunications equipment provider, general mobile contractor)
Electronics industry
Language Skills:
English (business fluent)
German (optional, would be an asset)
