Builds business by promoting sales of products; establishing and maintaining customer relationships; providing solutions; and developing new business opportunities within assigned region.
Job Requirements:
Service accounts, obtain orders, solicit and establish new accounts as directed by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential customers.
Sell products and meet sales objectives by identifying and responding to customer needs and developing customer specific product solutions; explaining or demonstrating products’ superior performance and price competitiveness.
Respond to customer inquiries by assisting with the preparation of proposals and quotations together with office staff; providing technical data.
Assist with preparation of quotations by studying drawings, patterns, plans, and related customer documents; consulting with engineers and other professional and technical personnel or contacts.
Process and submit sales orders to home office for approval by reviewing orders against price lists or proposals; ensuring products meet customer expectations, and conferring with home office support staff if necessary.
Keep management informed by submitting activity and results reports such as bi-monthly reports detailing customer calls, forecast and sales information analysis, customer calls planned, and monthly expense reports.
Assist with sales objectives by forecasting expected sales volume for existing and new products; recommending product improvements or new products.
Promote products by attending trade shows; assisting in exhibit preparation including installation and dismantling.
Maintain professional and technical knowledge by studying existing and new legislation; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
Contribute to team effort by accomplishing other job results as needed.
Reports to the VP of Sales
Education:
Degree in engineering or electronics, or equivalent experience.
Solid practical knowledge of Cellular networks and other communications systems, preferably obtained through hands-on experience selling into the antenna space.
Knowledge of FCC rules and regulations would be an asset but is not a mandatory requirement.
Experience/Training:
4-6 years of experience in technical sales of communications products to Cellular& Mobile operators, OEM’s and other customers engaged in the communications industry.
Successful track record in sales.

Demonstrate solid knowledge and experience in the use of all MS Office software programs including but not limited to Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
Perform light physical work on a regular basis such as keyboarding, reaching, stooping, kneeling, standing and walking. May be required to lift up to 15 lbs regularly, and up to 35 lbs occasionally.
Must have a valid driver’s license and be willing to drive 25,000 or more business miles per year and travel by air or other transportation modes as needed.
