Our client is a national telecommunications services firm.

Job Description:

  • Coordinating and managing multiple large wireless network projects.
  • Handling all project coordination, conference calls, spreadsheets, driving vendor/client project reports, scheduling, and presentation slides/reporting.
  • Monitoring schedules and alerting on conditions which may lead to delays in the completion of work or delays to when the construction schedule falls behind.
  • Communicating progress and problems associated with project.
  • Providing documentation and written record as to the progress, problems, solutions, change orders, and other items which reflect the progress or lack of.
  • Providing written and verbal reports to specified groups as directed.
  • Observing testing, verifying the results, and providing documentation as required as part of systems operations – Closeout Packages
  • Effectiveness in communicating project goals.
  • Managing large project databases and utilizing Project Management SaaS tools.
  • Demonstrated skill of paying in-depth attention to details.
  • Ability to foresee obstacles and develop work around plans.
  • Working knowledge of cell site transport facilities ordering and scheduling.
  • Cell Site Modifications – antenna, power, fiber, generator and building/shelter augmentations.
  • Contractor / Vendor management.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 4 – 6 years of telecommunications experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years experience in project management.
  • Preferred experience in OSP fiber projects.
  • Experience managing many remote teams from a central location.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to foresee obstacles and develop work around plans.
  • Experience leading daily or weekly meetings, including documenting action items and ensuring deadlines are met.
