Our client is a rapidly growing and profitable full service telecommunications company. Their service offerings include Wireless, and they have been providing Wireless to their market for over 20 years. They have recently deployed LTE.

We need a Sr. RF Network Engineer with CDMA and LTE network experience to be the RF Lead Engineer for a small team for their Harrisburg, PA location. This person will be a “go-to” engineer for more junior RF Engineers as well as for their internal customers. There is potential for the right person to be promoted to RF Manager within the next 2 years.
Responsibilities:
- RF Engineering Design and Optimization for cellular network sites.
- Supervision of RF Engineering design and implementation support for WiFi network build-outs.
- Mentor junior RF Engineers.
- Provide guidance to the development of a process plan, including personnel, materials, facilities, and equipment.
- Perform site selection of candidates through cell planning, review and approval process. Coordination with Site Acquisition group is expected.
- Supervise and Coordinate work for junior RF Engineers, technicians and contractors. This may include RF drive test preparation, search area map preparation for new sites and problem resolution with RF equipment vendors.
- Provide presentations of wireless projects with reports of technical plans.
Qualifications:
- BSEE or similar 4 year engineering degree is required, MSEE a plus.
- RF Design and RF Optimization experience with CDMA and 1xEV-DO and with LTE networks is required.
- Knowledge of IEEE 802.11 standards and WiFi networks with design, configuration and test experience a plus.
- Experience with collection and post processing of data plus RF analysis of the data along with recommending issues resolution.
- RF design, planning and mapping software tools experience – must include Planet experience.
- Team lead experience is a big plus.
- Very good written and verbal communication skills are required.

Compensation: 90 – 110K + 10% bonus
