Job Description:

  • Contributes to the general management of construction activities related to the development of multiple, simultaneous network infrastructure projects including, but not limited to, DAS IBR, DAS E-Node B, ODAS and Large Venue DAS Installs
  • Develops quality assurance methods, procedures, standards and technical training related to DAS construction projects.
  • Performs pre-design/bid walks with carrier design contractors and provides feedback to DAS/IB Project Manager and carrier RF engineering. Helps carrier design contractor locate best Head End location, does not provide any RF design input to contractor.
  • Performs site walks during DAS construction verifying antenna placement per iBwave design, construction drawings, reports to DAS/IB Program Manager, carrier RF engineer if there are any deviations from the plan.
  • Performs DAS Head End room construction visits to ensure site is being built per local carrier operation team’s standards.
  • Coordinates with diverse project teams consisting of DAS/IB Program Management, DAS RF Engineering, DAS Install Vendors, carrier Operations Team, System Performance, Equipment suppliers, other internal and external resources through the project completion and closeout.
  • Performs site walks to assess/verify equipment inventory for possible IBR upgrades, provides inventory list to carrier for review, does not provide RF design input to carrier
  • Communication through regular meetings to review status, gather updates and reporting results for each DAS Project assigned.
  • Reports directly to DAS/InBuilding Program Manager.
  • Works with carrier contractors at project kickoff to insure the accurate SOW is discussed, schedules developed, access issues resolved, carrier material received and coordination of equipment turn-up to network.
  • Provides onsite visits to DAS/InBuilding to insure carrier Quality Standards are being met and coordinates with carrier project stakeholders on status of project.
