We are currently representing an excellent Microwave Systems Engineer, who has 20 years experience in the design and product development of Microwave Transmission Networks.
Some of his accomplishments include:
- Completed four designs for low latency medium haul microwave route designs (each approximately 710 miles) for connecting two or more data center end points for High Frequency Trading Customers, three of which were constructed and commissioned.
- Completed multiple designs for short haul ring and hub and spoke microwave networks to serve WiMAX sites in various markets across the US, specified radio and antenna types, supported and analyzed path survey results, undertook network capacity planning to meet specified traffic requirements. Familiar with Dragonwave (DUO/Quantum/Compact), Cielo Skylink CG, Motorola PTP600, Exalt, Ceragon, Bridgewave, E-Band and Alcatel MPR9500 radios.
- Directed and completed taking a 70/80GHz Gigabit radio product through FCC Part 101 certification resulting in the first FCC equipment certification for this band.
- Managed the product development of 15 broadband mm-Wave radio base stations up/down converters and customer premise’s equipment products, from initial design through mass production.
- Prepared and submitted all documentation leading to FCC and UL certification of a 60GHz, OC-12 radio product line and FCC approval of 802.11 wireless products in the 2.4 and 24GHz bands.
- Designed and implemented a trial fixed-wireless access networks based on a 3.5GHz TDMA wireless local loop system using the Planet and EDX-SignalPro radio planning design tools. Performed antenna optimization, RF coverage maximization, base-station sectorization, PSTN switch interfacing, traffic capacity planning (Erlang B table) and microwave PtP path design for base-station backhaul.
