Required Experience:
A Bachelor’s degree in Technology/Engineering/Science or related experience.
Experience working with business-to-business sales and supply chain principles.
A proven track record in sales, having delivered innovative value-based solutions to different businesses and varied domains.
5 years successful record of relevant relationship selling.
Disciplined use of SalesForce.com and sales-funnel planning.
Proven ability to stay in contact with a portfolio of Customers, build frequent and repeated buying relationships, and sell across an integrated selection of products.
Demonstrated insight into the government procurement process including Sources Sought, Pre-RFP / Request for Proposal (RFP) / Request for Quotation (RFQ), in support of public sector requirements development / assessment; to include but not limited to teaming with strategic resellers and other partners.
Proven ability to identify, assess needs analysis, and exploit opportunities within federal government programs of record; to include teaming on proposals and product support for task order awards.
Demonstrated working ability with OEMs, Systems Integrators, VARs, with a strong understanding of business goals.
3-5 years of sales experience in US Government / DoD /Civilian market with strong technical expertise including deep industry knowledge and contacts.
