Job Description:
The RF / Systems Manager will oversee the implementation and deployment of a very large scale LTE network from the technical side including verification of design, site selection, test, turn up and customer acceptance.
- Review program structure and design.
- Create procurement documents.
- Manage vendors and contractors.
- Design reviews.
- Manage test, turn up, implementation through to customer acceptance.
- Budget responsibility.
- Reporting to and meeting with the customer.
- Technical presentations.
This is a permanent W-2 salaried position with benefits based in Los Angeles.
The company is on a 4/10 (4 day/10 hour) schedule. During those 4 days, you will need to be able to either commute to LA or relocate there for the term of the project, which is a minimum of 8 months.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years RF Design and Optimization Experience
- BSEE or similar
- Strong understanding of LTE network design and architecture.
- Wireless network design experience, including LTE network design.
- LTE buildout experience including deployment, test and turn-up. Must be knowledgeable about issues during the deployment phase of LTE.
- Experience overseeing and managing vendors and contractors on large scale wireless network projects.
- Strong communication and customer skills.
- Project management experience is a plus.
- Experience with FirstNet projects is a big plus.
Compensation: 95 – 110K
