Our client is a national telecommunications services firm.
Job Description:
- Coordinating and managing multiple large wireless network projects.
- Handling all project coordination, conference calls, spreadsheets, driving vendor/client project reports, scheduling, and presentation slides/reporting.
- Monitoring schedules and alerting on conditions which may lead to delays in the completion of work or delays to when the construction schedule falls behind.
- Communicating progress and problems associated with project.
- Providing documentation and written record as to the progress, problems, solutions, change orders, and other items which reflect the progress or lack of.
- Providing written and verbal reports to specified groups as directed.
- Observing testing, verifying the results, and providing documentation as required as part of systems operations – Closeout Packages
- Effectiveness in communicating project goals.
- Managing large project databases and utilizing Project Management SaaS tools.
- Demonstrated skill of paying in-depth attention to details.
- Ability to foresee obstacles and develop work around plans.
- Working knowledge of cell site transport facilities ordering and scheduling.
- Cell Site Modifications – antenna, power, fiber, generator and building/shelter augmentations.
- Contractor / Vendor management.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 4 – 6 years of telecommunications experience.
- A minimum of 5 years experience in project management.
- Preferred experience in OSP fiber projects.
- Experience managing many remote teams from a central location.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to foresee obstacles and develop work around plans.
- Experience leading daily or weekly meetings, including documenting action items and ensuring deadlines are met.
