Job Description:

Industry leading professional services provider is adding a Technical Account Manager to assist in sales process. This candidate will develop, grow, and maintain services and sales support for our customer engagements. Engages appropriate internal resources as necessary, to support sales pursuits as an overlay services and support resource. This includes:

  • Pre-deployment: Site Survey, Infrastructure project management, construction management, component installation, data center commissioning.
  • Post-deployment: Preventative maintenance, varying levels of response based Critical Maintenance, remote monitoring, global Service Operations Center.
  • Regional Sales and Services Engagement Support
  • Partner Engagement and Development

Role in sales process:

Supports the execution of the complete sales cycle, from prospecting and qualifying sales leads, coordinating sales activities and required resources for solution development, to presenting solutions and negotiating through the close. Will support the process using appropriate sales messaging, favorable influences selection of products, service or solutions in targeted accounts with the accountable selling organization.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 10 years Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing (MEP) experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years working as the prime contractor for MEP projects.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Communication Skills: Supports and participates in team sales initiatives where applicable

  • Developing specifications both performance and prescriptive for infrastructure projects
  • Developing, documenting, and implementing, service programs for infrastructure projects.
  • Experience in MEP project estimation and code compliance
  • Experience developing and implementing MEP Service Contracts for select clientele
  • Experience working with A&E firms, suppliers, contractors and MEP service providers.
  • International business experience desired

Compensation: Up to 100K base + commission
