Job Description

As an RF Technical Support Engineer you will have following responsibilities:

  • Pre-Sales and Post-Sales Support
  • Provide support on instrument operation, technical applications and clarification of technical specifications.
  • Identification of operator error or actual device issues that require support from the service department.
  • Provide info about product lines to the customers (Spectrum Analyzers, Signal Generators, VNA’s)
  • Configure best product for customer’s application
  • Relay customer’s input on our products
  • Report software bugs

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree or an Associates degree in technical area.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal, written, listening & presentation).
  • Customer-facing skills.
  • Ability to work extended hours when required for resolving customer issues.
  • Knowledge on RF/Microwave transmission lines and their components (Coax cables, connectors, antennas, tower mounted amplifiers, duplexers, diplexers, Waveguides etc.)
  • Knowledge on Return Loss, VSWR, Insertion Loss, Distance to Fault measurements.
  • Working experience with Signal Generators, RF Spectrum Analyzers, RF Power Meters, Vector Network Analyzers.
  • Wireless Communications knowledge: GSM, CDMA, EVDO, W-CDMA, WiMAX, LTE.

Compensation:  70K + Bonus
